Auto Shows Worldwide

Get that gear stick into first and those transmission bearings buzzing! We’re going to give you a gasoline-guzzling tour of all the best auto shows around the globe! Though your passport might be of as much use as an English dictionary in Timbuktu, next year things will be different. So, get ready, get set, and prepare to go!

INTERNATIONAL MOTOR SHOW BRUSSELS

This is an auto show held in the capital city of Belgium, Brussels - some might even say that this is the capital of Europe itself, as it’s where the EU central government resides. The auto show is therefore organized by a conglomerate of companies including FEBIAC (the Fédération Belge de l'Automobile & du Cycle) and is put together by the Organisation Internationale des Constructeurs d'Automobiles. It’s an important show, and the range of vehicles is perhaps the best in the entire European continent! If you love cars and bikes, then put this one on your list and get there. It’s been going since 1902 so is now pretty renowned.

Salão Internacional do Automóvel de São Paulo

This is the biggest and most important auto show in the whole of South America. It began in 1960 and takes place every 2 years. Since 1990 it’s been an international rather than domestic affair, and you can now see the best the world has to offer in terms of brand new vehicles. Normally the show is held in November, meaning a more temperate visit to Brazil if you feel like moseying on down.

Tokyo Motor Show

This biennial auto show is held in Tokyo, Japan. It’s a recognized auto show by international bodies and is seen as one of the ‘big five’ in the realm of motor shows (alongside Paris, Frankfurt, Geneva, and Detroit). This show is open to dealers and businesses as well as the general public, and it’s hosted by the tip top JAMA (Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association). Of course, a trip to Tokyo would be a once in a lifetime trip to boot.

BIMOS (Busan International Motor Show)

This is another biannual event, and it’s one that’s intended to boost the economy of its host country, South Korea. It’s a super cool, super large scale event that offers a lot in terms of wow-factor. The exhibition hall at its location is huge and houses hundreds of cars and trucks. Every time, it seems to get bigger, so if you’re looking to be dazzled, if not overwhelmed, then this is one for you.

Shift your metaphorical gear stick and take a trip to any of these, as soon as you’re able. We promise you that the auto sights you’ll see will be beyond compare!
